Child and Family Therapist 

LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services a generalist group practice in downtown Oak Park, IL is seeking a part-time Child and Family Therapist to work in a private practice setting. Applicants who have strong training in working with young children and their families are encouraged to apply. Those with interests in play therapy, child development, multicultural issues (ethnicity, LBGT issues) will be considered favorably. Applicants who have solid psychological testing (for doctoral level applicants) backgrounds are also preferred.  Therapists must be licensed (LCPC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist).

The child and family therapist will carry a caseload of individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy as well as psychological testing referrals as needed. The therapist must also participate in marketing and community outreach activities. This position will likely be part-time, but could become full-time as the caseload grows. Therapists must be open to working full-day Saturdays and at least two afternoons/evenings during the week.
