We are pleased to introduce a 7 week Substance Use Group for adults (18+) who aren't yet sure if they have a substance use problem or addiction.  This group is designed for individuals who are not yet actively trying to change their pattern of substance use but who are open to beginning to look closer at this aspect of their lives. 

The Substance Use Group is designed to facilitate open and honest exploration of substance use and the possible consequences to their lives.  The group will use education, self-exploration, homework, and motivational interviewing techniques to help individuals understand their relationship to alcohol and other substances.

Participating clients will likely have some history of substance use, that is causing some degree of trouble in their work, school, family or peer relationships.

Group Facilitator:

Starting the first week of March 2010.  Wednesday evenings 6:00 PM.

Where:

137 N. Oak Park Ave., Suite 302A

Cost:

$40.00 per session or $250.00 if paid in full at the first session (not applicable if using insurance to cover the costs of the program).
